Gladiator: A tank that starts in Ul'dah, prefers swords and shields and wears plate armor. What makes Final Fantasy unique is the fact that classes are divided in two parts, combat classes and crafting/gathering classes. Do you want to be the big frontliner wielding the sickest armor and the biggest shield? Then the Gladiator class suits you best! Are you a fan of stalking in the shadows and firing arrows from a distance? Then you'll be happier playing as an Archer or Rogue.
Catalina is more annoying than useful.Classes determine your playstyle and have arguably the biggest impact on your gameplay since it will decide what powers, spells and/or armor you unlock throughout the game.
The client has never really ran up to standards even after they fixed that issue.Īnyways, you probably should just go back to Mojave if FF14 was working for you. I can play most other supported games on Mac just fine, it's literally just FF14 and it always has been an issue.
In all honesty, it's not MAC fault in this case, Square Enix we're extremely lazy to port FF14 over using Wine instead giving us a Native client that just works with Metal. I love my macbook and hackintosh and also prefer MacOS so I get where you are coming from. I usually buy the game during sales on all platiforms ps4/win/mac.
